but you had to switch houses with your neighbour to do theirs and they could choose the room themselves and you could not see/speak to them for 3 days, would you do it or pass up the deal?I'd definitly would pass it up for sure, don't like strangers in my house for no reason, haha.

I would have to pass on that! We rent and I don't think our landlord would be impressed! The last tenants did a bodgy job of painting and now we aren't even allowed to fix it! lol. I'd say, go and ask the neighbours on the other side! lol.

Our landlord is pretty good. We have to be careful what we complain about though as it is Community Supported Housing and their resources are stretched too. If it were us doing the make over ourselves, I'm sure they would be better with that idea. Especially the gardens! lol.

Strangers are indeed strange enough if at all they desire the night stay in such a fashion.I do not think they should be trusted upon at all.But then there is a p[lace in India ,in Bihar called Deogarh. That is the place where all tourists are treated in the same manner. It iois the BABA KI NAGRI.And all tourists are respected lot over there. No one is stranger there and there is a great harmony as well.I would love to see you there as and when if ever it is possible .

I have seen the situation you describe on reality Tv, and the end result is always nice. But it would depend on my situation, on my needs-If my house was in a need for a makeover, then I would definitely agree. If I was Bill Gates, and was not in need, then there would be no use. Makeovers are usually done with a good motive, they are inspired by the need to change someone's life-at least the ones on Tv. There was this one I saw, where a young girl had been operated upon and as a result of her operation, needed to stay in a safe and clean environment which presented the least risk to her fragile health and her family was of modest means, so they could not do much. These TV guys heard of that, went over and changed the little girl's life. Similarly, they also rebuilt a house for a family which had lost their's in a fire. In one week! In my situation, I would definitely push privacy aside and getmyself to get a fly house.
