Every year about this time I start cooking and baking. I think it has to do with the weather and the Holidays. I like to cook soups and bake sweets. Just today I have made Peanut Blossoms{peanut butter cookies with kisses on top} and a pumpkin pie. Never to early for Pumpkin Pie! I was thinking of making beef soup for dinner. I love warm foods when its cold out. And I have been having alot of hot chocolate lately. What about you? Are you in a baking mood? Do you like to bake cookies and pies?

yumm...I love peanut blossoms. I'm planning on making coconut brownie drops today. I also like to make comfort food this time of year...soups, stews, breads, and sweets.

Cooking is kind of therapy for me. I love to cooks anything that my family request for. Last Saturday, I am in my cooking mode. My godsister requested for Indian Rojak, (I tell you about this in another posting). I had been bragging to her that I teached a friend abroad to make this. She insist that I made it. Then my brother called when I was busy cooking. He requested that I cook for him Black Pepper crab. Hah, since I'm in a cooking mood, I told him alright. He came to fetch me to buy crab. Unfortunely, no crab at the market. So he told me to bake pizza cause his daughters love to eat and we will be going to my eldest sister house for dinner and some family discussion. Alas, I spent my saturday cooking Indian Rojak and Pizza from scratch. I would love to make pumpkin pie, can you share with me the recipe. I do make cookies for festive season but I just hate to wait for the cookies to cook in the oven. I would love to try something new for some special occasion at home. Btw, I love hot chocolate but just cant take hot chocolate too much unless I need to suffer from those sore throat.

No I am terrible when it comes to cooking period. I do try to bake now and then but I use those ready made mixtures and add milk, water, oil and eggs or whatever the recipe on the box says. I usually bake blueberry muffins my favorite.

Well I do want to whip out some German and Italian cuisine along with a few far eastern variations. I'm kind of in a cooking mood, but work has been quite a gauntlet and Thanksgiving is going to be a haul this year. I'm with you on the hot dishes and the chocolate though (I even started a thread on it, I intend to put some recipes down for a few people who give some good responses, or those that just ask). Sorry for the tangent. I think I'll be having some hot chocolate too soon enough. Baking mood? I have to point to that thread again. I might try a loaf here and there, but its more likely I'll try some chocolate cakes.

I LOVE baking for the holidays! Every year my sister and I make dozens and dozens of cookies. We decorate them in chistmas and new years themes. Then we eat them all and get fat. LOL!
