Air tickets .. Online purchase or agent ?

I was wondering if someone please clear it. Now every airlines has got their websites and online booking is available. But still lot of travel agents exist and offer tickets. Which option is best and safe to purchase cheap tickets ?

Hi smartbrain. I am much comfortable with online ticket purchasing. As it is very good for time and extra expenses saving rather than I contact any travel agency even though some of the agency have their dispatch man to send me the ticket. The more I purchased through online, the more small benefits that I am getting as bonus point to my online membership. HAPPY DAPPY.

For flight fare give no different, but extra offers only valid for online purchasing; such as MYR9.00 per seat per adult per trip excluding airport tax.
