Check with your PC or motherboard manufacturer to see if it is compatible. Usually you can use DDR400 RAM in a DDR333 board, it will just run at 333 speeds. It probably won't work though if you have ddr333 and ddr400 RAM in the board at the same time. If you want to try both at the same time, make sure that the ddr400 RAM is in the first slot. So long as it is properly seated there is little to no risk that it will actually damage your motherboard.

If you want to intall the pc400 ram into your pc333 ram slot, this may cause incompatiblity and may damage your motherboard or any of the RAM.. The PC400 RAM requires higher system databus than the pc333 RAM. Just make sure your pc400 RAM is compatible with the system bus of your motherboard.

i'm not sure if your pc can support a pc400 ram. but if you already have an existing pc300 card, you might get problems if you mix it with a different type. so be careful with that decision. c',)
