I try to thank everyone for responding to my discussions. Is it really necessary to thank all who respond or is it a matter of manners?

I make it a point by thanking them as soon as they post on my discussion. It's courtesy also and they spend time reading your discussion and joining in the discussion. They make effort so by thanking them your showing that you are very happy that they post to your discussion.

It is not required but we normally do it out of courtesy. There are members out there who expect feedback for their responses and there are also who do not get upset when you did not reply or say thank you to them. if I have the time and energy, i would at least say thank you to them unless they replied to a very old discussion.

Thanks for responding so quickly. I do take the time to answer all responses unless, like you mentioned, they are old. I forget to go back at older conversations and see if any new responses.

Of course not. :) Just respond to those responses you want to comment on. And juggle that with the time you have available to spend. Just enjoy yourself. :D

Hello carol bee friend. I think that it is a habitual action while responding to discussions. It is ok, friend, to go on the way you love to as each individual has his own way in doing whatever so long as he is happy. Thanks so much for your discussion, dear friend. Good day.

Hello williamjisir, I guess it is a matter of personal decision as to whether the person writing the discussion responds with a thank you. Thanks for your response and have a good evening, carolbee
