Well I am sure most here know what Black Friday is. It is the biggest shopping day of the year. It's held every year the day after Thanksgiving. The reason being so huge is that the stores have superb sales. Ever wanted to know these sale items in advance. Well check this site out. It's an insiders looks at some of the stores ads that are going to be in the newspapers on Thursday for the sale. I am making me a list from this so I know in advance what stores to hit etc. Have fun shopping Black Friday.

I think I start my new temporary/seasonaly part time job on that day but I won't find out until Wednesday at my training session. I think I am all shopped out and probably won't even bother shopping on that day. Mind you I'm working for a retail store so who knows what I might do LOL

You will not find me shopping on Black Friday or this weekend. I hate crowds and heavy traffic. People are insane to go shopping on this weekend. I prefer shopping online or shopping well ahead November to avoid crowds, crime and accidents waiting to happen. There are sales all year long so why people wait til now is bizarre.

I remember seeing a reference to this Black Friday once before. I asked about it & was told of the big shopping spree. It seemed an odd name to me.
We give names like Black Friday to big bushfires.
I tried to check out your link, but it wasn't working for me.
What are going to try to get on sale? DSome good deals I hope!

Just about everything is or will be discounted. HAHAHA! I think the link is good only in the States and Canada. Dunno for sure. HAHAHA!!

Is it that time of the year again,hehe. Well I got money in bank and ready to go. Thanks for the tip on the link. I remember one year on black friday I was at Wal-Mart and this lady came up behind me with her cart and ran right into the back of my heel and took a hunk of skin off it and didnt even say sorry or nothing, so what did I do you ask! rofl. Well I took my cart and went around the isle and came up behind her and did the same thing but I was kind enough to "say sorry my bad." lmao. Happy Shopping to you also.

There's been mnay early opening sales at various stores here.
The stores opened at 6 a.m. a couple times with great discounts already. I got in on a few items at those sales at JC Penny and
Sears. Ouch. I had my ankle peeled away also by a womans wandering
cart a few summers ago. OUCH!!

I am very familiar with how busy stores and malls are on the Friday following Thanksgiving..but I am not into all that stuff..I hate shopping, matter of fact!
I think it's all foolishness to go out and spend all your money on stuff you will like for about a month..
Store owners know very well how to get your money..more so then you know how to keep it.

Store merchants tagged this day "Black Friday" as it is the one day where nearly all stores are in the black as far as money. They all mostly have a profit filled day.

I don't go shopping on Black Friday. I can't stand all the big crowds. I'm going to go shopping some this week but I'm just not doing it on Friday. Plus my son and I both have a doctor's appointment on Friday and I'm not going to want to take him anywhere since he's getting shots.

Thanks for the site. I see they have walmarts which is good. i heard that walmart was threatening to sue sites for releasing it so early.

Unfortunatley I have to work on this day and will have to leave extra early to fight the crowds on my way to work. I never go shopping on this day, I thnk it is way to crowded and busy in the stores, I try to get all my shopping done before now becuase it is such a mad rush after that and untill christmas day.

My wife also works Friday. But not till 11 a.m.
So we may get up early then I'll drive her to work.

Our granddaughter started her very first job on Black Friday of last year... a real trial by fire at the Guess outlet store! She's still there, and moving up the ladder. She no longer has any fears or insecurities... she said if she could live through that, she can do anything!LOL

I don't go shopping on Black Friday becasue I don't have anyone to watch my kids and they would not act very good after getting up at 4 in the morning. I am going shopping on Sunday though and most of the time the sales are still going on then.

The sales get great early in the morning though with special prices only at certain hours usually. But take casre of the kids first and foremost.

Hi Grandpa Bob!
We don't have Black Friday because our Thanksgiving was in the first week of October. I really wish we had huge sales the day after Thanksgiving like you guys do. Would be a great time to catch up on some Christmas shopping at really good prices! Have fun shopping!
