i recently stumbled upon this album of Elton's a few weeks back, it is a great album rememsent of Goodbye yellow brick road and Captan fantastic. I have looked and noticed that none of the tracks on this album apperars on a greatest hits of his I was eager to know what songs from this album made the radio if anyones know and if you haven't heard this record it is a must have for all Elton fans, it really showcases his skills as a pianist and his first efforts without bernie and his forst record with gary osborne. it got great reviews on amazon.com whwere I listened to and purchased it, and am just looking for any input what so ever form all of his fans here on mylot.

No, I have never heard any of these records on the radio, myself! And it's a shame,it does show Elton John, as a very unique, and talented artist! I listened to them and I like them, of course I like his commercial hits also!

There not my favorites, but I noticed a lot that were radio worthy and was just wondering why he has seemed to dimiss them.

I am not familiar with this album. I'm afraid I know his older material from Friends (the movie) and Yellow Brick Road which is a fantastic song. Elton John is a terrific and prolific musician and his music is always great.
