Should people who are stupid be killed?

Let's face it. Stupidity is sometimes attributed to genetics. Therefore, people who are stupid are genetically disabled. By allowing them to be stupid and go into the world and reproduce, we are just allowing this genetic trait to be passed on to a new generation. However... If all the people who were stupid were killed, or at least not allow to reproduce, then the trait of stupidity (as least the genetic trait) could be wiped out. Think of the possibilities... the human being itself could evolve to a whole new level of being. Standards could be higher placed, and we could accomplish more as a species. I don't personally agree with this, but it is one theory. What do you have to bring to the discussion?

All that I can bring to this discussion is that No, I don't think that stupid people should be killed. Otherwise....I wouldn't have had my beautiful, intelligent daughter......lol.......

Well, if your daughter is intelligent, then she won't be killed. It would only be people who lack the genetic capacity for thought. In fact, maybe just people under a certain IQ level would be prosecuted.

I don't agree with this theory. There are some people in the world who are very smart but have no common sense. I don't think there should be someone who should be able to decide ones future like that. I mean look at all the child abusers, phedopilers and murders in the world. There isn't anyone appointed to decide they should all die. They are way worse if you ask me.

This is true. But then what if we also decided to kill/not-allow-to-reproduce the child abusers, pedophiles, and murderers, as well as everyone else that we deem "inappropriate" for society? That way, we would be a genetically superior species, with no faults whatsoever. And, after a few generations, all of these faults would be wiped out, and we would be a people of... of, well, of "goodness". This is kind of like what Hitler wanted to do, and it does make sense. It is just very, very wrong.

Personally I don't think it would ever work and I think it is very wrong. And Hilter had severe problems hiself.

Yes, this is all very true. I'm just trying to spur some argumentative conversation :)
