If you put Vicks Vaporub, at the Bottom of your Feet, will it Cure your Cough?

Oh I have never heard of that before but I wouldn't push aside any old wives tales, so many of them work, when I was a little girl if we ever got a sore throat we used to swallow a bit of it I didn't find out until years later that it is actually made of some sort of petroleum or something....hahahah but it worked for us.
