Vegetables have become the gold standard of healthful eating, and every year brings more news of their natural benefits, from vitamins to minerals to antioxidant.but new research suggests thAt the way you look your vegetables can make a big difference in how many of those nutrients you actually get.in two separate studies, boiling water seems to be the miscreant one studies found that broccoli microwaved in water lost 74 to 97 percent of three key antioxidants, while streaming caused only minimal loss 0 to 11 percent.the other study found that for 20 different types of vegetables, blanching {briefly immersing in boiling water}before freezing caused them to lose up to one-third of their acid.

its because of the confusion of nutriants that I think it doesn't hurt to take added suppliments, I prefer to eat things like carrot, peas and even beetroot in salad raw, even then if they are not completely fresh may have already lost a bit of their goodness, it is confusing but I think we can help ourselves a little by taking even one type of vitamin or even fish oil daily which I think can help..
