the winter has come and so have dry lips!! this morning i woke up with a huge, bleeding crack in my top lip. i used vasaline all day to attempt to keep it moisturized, and it worked okay. what kind of chapstick/lipbalm/other product do you use to keep your lips from chapping in in winter (or summer or spring or fall)?

I know what you mean. I can feel the dryness of my lips right now. I need to go grab some Chapstick when I get done responding. I have a variety of kinds. I have Blistex, Chapstick, Carmex, Vaseline, and some off brands too. I am always forgetting to take some with me when I go out, so I just grab whatever the store or gas station has.

I alternate amoung different kinds just in case it's like danderouff and you can get immuned to one kind. Medicated blistex is one, herbal chapstick is another, and anything that's on sale. One in each coat pocket so when they're dry I can use them. I had a friend who used to make her own with beeswax and olive oil plus different herbs. Take care and I hope your lips do well soon.
