Remember way back in the early days of the Iraq war... when the democrats in the House and Senate called for an audit of the billions they have appropriated? Remember? With all the crap that the dems whine about, that they have no Constitutional authority to actually do, the one thing they threatened that is well within there authority seems to be the last thing on their mind. Congress has the authority and responsibility to audit the use of any funds appropriated by them. I'd back any plan to audit the revenue spent on the Iraq war... but apparently none of the Democrats really care. They would rather just blather on about crap they have no authority to do.

To do that they would have to admitt that things were going alright if nothing was found wrong. They can't take that chance. It is easier to make the accusation and to throw stones than to offer a plan of thiers. They are uspset that Hallaburtan is getting all the contracts, but as I understand it they are one of two or three companies around the world that can do that type of job. I have only heard of one project failing and that was a contract that was let on bids and another company got the bid. Hallaburtan had to rebuild the building they buillt because they contractor used the wrong type of cement. The cement dried before the chemical raction was complete which resulted in the cement crumbling and the building being unusable.
