My weekend in the woods Deer Hunting

Doe and Yearling - This is a shot taken with my Canon S5 with Immage Stabliation. It was taken at ISO 400 and with branches on the way. I wa a the end of my 12x optical zoom.The AF and small brnaches between my camera and the deer cause the blurry effect.

This past weekend I enjoyed Wisconsin's fifth season - Deer Hunting. I took my camera with me to see what I could take pictures of while waiting for the elesuive Buck.

That must have been a truely fantastic weekend. I like adventure in the wild, and like hunting so much, not so much for the game meat but for the exciting experiences one gets in the wild, the trees, the flowers, the birds, and the beautifully flowing streams make the experience of being in the wild just great.

I enjoy the time in the woods. If I get my deer it is a nice extra but the peace and the adventure and what you might see is the fun part.
