The rare form of mono that never leaves your system. I got it when I was 19 and I still have a low immune system due to it and chronic fatigue. When I first got sick it was because I worked too much and the illness put me on bed rest for 3 months solid.

I knew a young man who was terribly sick like this a few years back. I never heard what the disease was, but I know he had to drop out of college for a semester because it had worn him out so badly that he was unable to handle college. He had been sick the entire summer break. He was a friend of my daughter's, so when she moved away I never heard about how well he recovered. Take care of yourself!

Actually most doctors don't even know about this illness. It is a form of mono, but it will not show up with a cotton swab test or the blood test for regular mono. You have to get this one certain blood test done to find out if that is the illness. There is a 20 point span of how bad the illness would be and I was only a 3 and it put me in bed for 3 months solid. Nothing much you can do about it but you must take tons of vitamins and get lots of rest or else it can just get worse and it can cause you to have such bad chronic fatigue that you are disabled basically for life.

There seems to be more and more of it. Some of it is due to an overloaded work environment in our society. No one is able to rest. Too much noise...too many plans....no one has time to sit back and heal.
