i am not really in to them i just don't like the sound of it i reckon it is a really hard intrusment to play what do you think og bag pipes

I actually love the sound of them! I'm of part Celtic heritage (Irish, Scottish, Welsh and English--uh plus more ethnic groups..LOL) and of course bagpipes are a part of the Celtic heritage in music. I find them to have a wonderfully haunting effect in music

Goodness no, you didn't offend me. I only got "into" bagpipe type music a few years ago. Sometimes it's played as background to New Age musicians or singers like Enya or David Arkenstone...to be honest to listen JUST to plain bagpipe music would leave me daft..LOL

Not really. We seldom get to hear it nowadays. I remember the times when we were at school, we used have this played on sports and memorial days. It felt patriotic. The players have a great lung power.
