I normally don't spend the copins which I get while doing shopping! I get them to my place and collect them in a container! I really don't understand why I do so! Having accumaulated many a coins , when the weight of the container exceeding some Kgs then I try to get rid of them by spending! Of course my better half use these coins and she readily reduces the burden of the container! By the way what do you do with the copins that you get as a change in the market? Do you spend them or carry it back home?

There are times that I save them, for emergency purposes. But sometimes, I just leave it to the counter or cashier and other's I just let them keep it. There are malls here that also have some cans used for donations, for poor kids and some sick that needs every little money they can collect to help and support them. This is were my coins/change usually go, that atleast I know I have helped them in a very possible way I can..

When I get change at the store, I put it in my pocket and take it home. Then I'll deposit it into one of my kids piggy banks. We have savings accounts set up for all 3 of our kids, so when they get full, I'll roll the change and deposit it in their accounts. I also stick stray dollar bills in there too when I can.
