Happy Thanksgiving. I know I'm alittle early but I have to make sure I say it now because I will be so busy cooking my apple pie, sweet potato pie, green beans, and sweet potato cassarole. We will be going to my grandfathers house and my father this year. One less place then usual. What are you cooking this year for Thanksgiving? Who are you spending it with?

I'll be cooking a southern thanksgiving dinner including cornbread dressing, which ya don't find in yankeeland lol. It will be a little different this year though, my daughter and her husband and I will have dinner here at our house, my boyfriend will pick up his little girl and go to his mom's for a while that afternoon. Then thursday evening my daughter and I will be headed out to start shopping at midnight, lol. Our original plans were we would go to his parents like we have the past 2 years, but my daughter and I needed some family time together at the holidays and they will be going to Texas for Christmas, so we won't see each other then. I'll be using my mom's recipes for all the cooking, and I can't wait for the smells to filter through the house, I miss the smells of the holidays at my parent's house.

Shopping at midnight I heard that they were doing that someplaces this year. Hope you had a good thanksgiving and you got a lot of deals. We were up at 4am outside of walmart waiting to get some deals Friday morning and I have to say we did pretty well. Walmart does need to make sure that people who have been standing outside all morning get in before they start letting people in that just walked up. Things like that cause too many fights and I heard someone saying just punch them in the mouth.
