I Need HELP With My Profile!

I know I risk sounding like a dummy but I don't care, it won't be the first time and I'm sure it won't be the last! I was trying to place a banner on my profile here on myLot but I'm not sure how to do it. I assume we can do that, or am I totally screwed up...lol? Any tips will be much appreciated! Annie

Hey, annie. Did you get it? If not, let me know, and I'll walk you through it. Someone had to hold my hand, too, but I finally got it, and I am DEFINITELY internet retarded! lol. Let me know if you still need help.

No, I didn't get it yet! I get to where it asks me something about which column I want it in then I can't get the page down to make a selection. I definitely need my hand held through this so thanks for the offer! Annie

Yes, it can be done. I have seen banners on peoples profile. But, please don't call youself a dummy, because that would make me one too. Dealing with our profiles are much harder than they have to be, so I am not very good at fiddling with them either.

For the most part, I try to leave mine as is. I am so afraid of ending up frustrated and just leaving it real ugly. So I don't mess with my background very often.

I did finally add my favorite saying to my profile but I don't remember how I did it. Send a email to My Lot and they will show you how. That's how I found out.

Annie, did you find out what to do? I read some of the responses and I tried to add some stuff to my page, I found another discussion that gave you step by step instructions, but still nothing! Its not working for me. So I just said phooey and left it the way I have it with just some color too it. I dont know why I cant get it to work! Im pretty literate when it comes to this stuff and its making me feel like a dumb dumb! LOL Bay Lay Gray xx

I don't have any tips for you. I am a newbie here and not quite sure how it all works yet. I have seen banners on other peoples profiles so I would think it's allowed or they, mylot, would of deleted their banners by now. Mylot seems to be very picky about whats allowed and whats not. Any question asked is not a dum question. If you don't know, it's good to ask to find out.
