When you walk alone on the street at night, do you often turn back just for fear

When i walk alone on the street at night, i usually turn back to make sure no strange person was tracing me. I am a little bit to careful about my safety ,right?But it comes so natural and i don't know why.
Do you have this kind of behavior, when you walk in darkness alone?

these days, i dont think there really is such a thing as "too careful"! i dont live in a bad part of town per say..but it isnt a gated community either. so i actually never walk alone, day or night. and when i have other ppl with me i always have my keys or something that might be used to at least scratch at someone..just in case lol.
its better to be safe than sorry right? the minute you let your guard down, thats when something will happen.

I really agree with you about"it's better to be safe than sorry"
Even with a person who seems to be kind and honest, we shouldn't approch them so closely, for no body will tell whether he also has a kind heart. It's too terrible.i really sometimes feel much happier and safer with my little rabbits than with people.seems silly?

Well in this century, it doesn't matter if it is night or day. We all turn back to see if there is any strange person stalking us or not. With 9-11 and also all these other news you hear about things happening not just in the US but all around the world. There is reasons to be alarm and scared. People are not who they seem to be any more. It's hard to tell if that person is going to go postal or not. So for the sake of safety we would always have to keep our eyes open and back straight just in case we need to defend ourselves or our love ones. Life is not the same as the olden days where you can walk the street with ease.

Really, how sad it is to keep our minds alarmed everyday.Life itself is not easy , yet with this extra pressure, it is more of a misery.
we are human beings, we should work together and go against the endless natural disaster but not hurt one another.
