I have and I have to say that unless you change your diet and exercise you won't lose weight. If you ask me diet pills are a waste of time and money. If I wanted to lose weight THE RIGHT WAY, I wouldn't be buying diet pills, right?!? LOL!!

I have taken diet pills. They don't make you lose weight in themselves but they do suppress your appetite which aids weight loss. It that respect they work. If you take them thinking that they will block what you eat they won't work but if you take them as a tool to minimise hunger they will work although some work better than others!

My friend at work swears by Alli. She has lost a noticeable amount of weight since starting it. I think it is the one that makes you too afraid to eat anything lest you have to rush to the bathroom! Not a bad idea. If I can get rid of the weight, I think I can keep it off. Also, I think that after a few months of not eating the bad stuff, I won't crave it anymore.

Yeah, I have done it at least once or twice but, honestly, it did not really work that well for me. I was still as big as before I took any pills. ANd I also heard that this kind of pill is not really good for your health and your heart as it can damage your heart and your liver. Sorry if my information is not all correct.

I would seriously think very hard before taking any kind of pills to help you lose weight. Years ago I was prescribed some diet pills and found myself addicted to them very quickly. They were amphetamine based, dangerous, and although I did lose a few pounds, the second I got myself off the darned pills, the weight just went straight back on. Sensible diet and exercise is the way to go.

Well, let me tell you something. I took the prescription diet pill, phentermine and lost 70 lbs. That was over a year ago. I have gained back about 20 lbs, but that is because I had a back injury and now take muscle relaxers. I didn't move off of the couch or bed after I first hurt my back. Now it prevents me from doing too much excercise. I want to take off 30 more at least.
