Anyone of you knows how to set up a wireless connection when you are using laptop? I know our office is WIFI hotspot and my bosses were into wireless connections. Am trying to get some list of network connection in range, unfortunately, no list can be viewed. Am qyuite frustrated because I still use internet cards which is impractical when i knew I can use wireless connection. Please help.

does your laptop have wifi capability? if not you can get a usb wifi ask you copmuter guy. If yes then make sure it is on there is a switch on the front or the side (read laptop documantation on how to do this). when it is on it will identify the wireless divises in range.. but this does not meen you can share the offices internet or share files( if you can please tell your network admin that his system has no security) Talk to you network admin for the security code or the ips and work group to put on your system so that you can share files with the rest..... I think you do not like to be tied down at one place coz the card works fine if it is in a desktop the wireless will set you free and you can work anywhere in the office... as long as you are in range :-D
