Why was it deleted?

I posted a discussion under mylot today about helping me get to 500 posts. Why was this deleted? People post about getting to milestones all the time? Just wondering what your thoughts are on this?

I think they are tired of such discussions and want to rid this of them. You have said people post about them everyday, why don't you read those discussions instead of starting a discussion on the same old topics? If you checked this site, you would find loads of similar discussions, and most of them trivial. It's about quality, not quantity, and I think that's why your discussion was deleted.
I totally support whoever did it.

Well I respect your opinion. I had just answered a bunch of questions and wanted to get a dialogue going. I actually think there is a lot you can say on the subject if you stretch your mind. Since we are all part of this site I thought it would be a good topic.
However other disagree and thats okay.
Besides I started this topic 5 minutes later and I wouldn' have been able to do this one without the other one being erased.

One of my discussions yesterday was deleted. It was me saying how I reached 500 posts (finally). I was so upset after that because I thought a random member deleted the post some how lol! It's against Mylot rules to post discussions about milestones apparantly.

Yah well I've heard a lot of people are reporting people for nothing lately. I don't think mylot actually investigates but automatically deletes.
If I wasn't so lazy I'd read the rules. But I usually respond to at least 2 discussions a day about people getting to milestones so I find it really unfair.
Thanks for your response

I don't know much about it. But I have seen many posts like that before also. Just curious about mylot rules.
