Blod and gore doesnt bother me and I can watch most things but I always fast forward to hobbling scene in Misery. It sends shivers up my spine. Anyone else hate watching this part?

i want to ask you if you have read the book, because it was much worse there than in the movie. if i remember it right, in the movie, Annie put a rectangular wooden box in between Paul's feet and crushed his ankles with some sort of mallet.in the book, Annie actually cut off Paul's foot (i don't remember if it was left or right) with an ax, andthen blowtorched it to control bleeding. There was alsoa time when Annie got "poopy" with him and chopped off his thumb with an electric knife. A couple of hours later while Paul was stoned with Novril, Annie gave him a cake with a special candle on top---Paul's own thumb. I have seen the movie long before I read the book, and when I watched it I was too young to completely understand english yet. But based on what I remember, the hobbling scene in the movie is nothing compared to what really happened in the novel.
