Few days ago, i read a news on the internet saying that it is a very bad habit to put the laptop on the bed when you are using it, it says the laptops like the cold place, and it is easily to be burned when you put it on the bed. I dont know if it is that serious, anyways, i keep using laptop on the bed. Do you have any suggestions?

I use my laptop in bed. But I've never had problems with it. I sometimes put it on my lap. Besides whats the difference in putting it on the bed and the table. doesnt it even get hot on a table or something?

The difference is that while the table is a hard flat surface the bed is almost the opposite. On the table the ventilation holes on the bottom get air because the laptop isn't sitting actually on the table but a little bit above it because it has some small pegs it's sitting on. On the bed because of its being soft the laptop is sitting on the surface and the ventilation holes get covered.

I always use the laptop on my bed too. I guess it could be very hot at times, so maybe it's better to place the laptop on a table or something hehe. but I think it's ok if you just use your laptop on your bed for a short while, just to be on the safe side ;)

We can use lap top on our beds and we can work on it even lying on our bed. This is very convenient machine than that of desk to computer. This can only be kept and used at desk or table top. We can feel easy using laptop on our bed.the laptop at bed is more enjoyable and it causes to work fast.

The main thing is, you should not stuck the ventilation holes.Try to use USB fan for laptop in order to keep it cool.

I think it is ok to put your laptop on the bed...as long as you do not block the ventilation holes on the laptop... I think people advised not to because the bed is soft and the notebook is prone to sink in easily...(Well, depends on the type of bed too..) As long as you be careful, I think it should be alright
