Don't you think remote Controlled Gadgets are making our lives Lethargic?

I recall the days when we used to spend several minutes to tune a station on Valve set Radio receiver! We had enough of patience and we used to tune the station till we were not getting claer signakls. But today it has become a big burden on our parts to go to TV and change the channel instaed we are submitting ourselves to remote controlled switch! I was wondering other day to see how many remote controls I do have at myplace, One for TV set, One for Set Top receiver, One for DVD palyer, One for VCP, one for another TV in bed room, one for my handycam...etc etc.
Have we become slaves to remote control switches in the modern day? Your opinion please!

Gadgets and machines make life way way way too easy!
That's a huge part of why so many people are obese now. You could live your whole life without leaving your couch at home if you wanted to!
Even young kids who would have been running around in the past, now have video games so they sit and play. It's discusting!
