Can you delete your own discussions?

Like i have seen a few discussions around about people getting others duscussions delted and all . and i have accidently did a few over and over i guess i accidently hit the button to much. and instead of hvaing 3 out there of one topic can u delete 2 and keep the one?.. would be awsome because i know u can get into trouble for that right? posting three of the same discussions? i swear it was an accident.lol! any input would help. thanks so much to all in advanced:) happy thanks giving ~*brittany*~
