Need foodstamps? My story

How do you feel about foodstamps? Is having foodstamps something to be ashame of? If you had to apply for foodstamps would you go hunger or apply. I would apply for food stamps. Let me tell you a short story about me, and my high paying job. I had a cousin who was on foodstamp. You know that if you are making too much money you can't get foodstamps,and this was me I was making too much money at the time, and I was still short on the food bill every month. It costs to live in the high life and all my too much money was going towards living the high life. So one day my cousin with the foodstamps came over and she ask could she have some water,so she went to my refidge and she said my god where's the food, and I said I got food and she said where is the steaks, meats etc. So she brought me some steaks with her foodstamps,so if someone ask me are you ashame of foodstamps my answer will be HELL NO!! You see i had food in my refidge but not enough to her.

I think it is very sad that someone with a good paying job and lives the high life can't keep food in the fridge. Maybe you need to learn to budget your wages so that you have money for food. I'ed like to know how someone on food stamps can buy steaks too. food stamps are for the real needy.No I wouldn't be ashamed to get food stamps if I really needed them.

I don't think there is anything wrong with getting food stamps if you really need them. I know there are a lot of people who could really benefit from getting them, but are embarrassed to apply. I feel bad for the people who could really benefit from getting food stamps, but the government says they make too much money even though they don;t have enough money for food.
