I have a 94 Aerostar van and I'm getting ready to turn on 300,000 miles...YES 300,000!!! I love the van! It just keeps going and going and going. What's the most miles you've ever had on a vehicle? How much longer do you think mine will last? My motor and tranny are still in good condition...I think/hope it runs forever!

I think that if you take good care of it and keep up the maintenance, it will last for a good long while. My 2006 Toyota Corolla has been very good to me. I have done a lot of traveling in it. It has 36,700 miles on it at this time. That's a lot of mileage for such a young car but she's up to the challenge! My last toyota corolla was a 1993 and was given to me by my brother when he bought his new vehicle. That car went through hell. It was in 4 accidents and still ran like a pin. In fact I sold it to a lady and she is still driving that thing around to this day. The only thing that was wrong with it was the door handles on the inside broke and had to be replaced.

We have a Buick LeSabre that has 120,000 miles and a Ford Taurus that has 75,000 miles. The Buick is paid for. We are still making payments on the Ford and will be for the next 3 years. We are getting a Chevy Lumina that has 68,000 miles on it. That also will be paid in full.
Cars are built better than they were years ago. With upkeep and a little TLC they will live a long time!

My car is a 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier. I bought it new back in February of 1998. It had 26 miles on it. Now, almost 10 years later it has 212,000 miles on it and it is still kicking. It has an oil leak right now though. One of the seals on the engine leaks oil. I need to get it fixed otherwise I don;t know how much longer it will survive.
