She has been known to flip flop on certain issues before, as have many other politicians before her. That is why we tend not to trust any of them without scrutiny. She supported the plan to issue licenses to the illegal aliens against the 77% of polled Americans who were against that! And then, she reversed her stand on this issue and angered the 15% who were for the issue. She has a lot of people mad at her right now for her flip-flopping of this issue important to many Americans. Will this hurt her chances?

One can only hope. With the figures provided she now has 92% of Americans mad at her, with 8% who are not. I feel that most likely the anti-Bush crowd will overlook her many foibles and vote for her anyhow, because to that bunch the issues matter less than the fairy tales and perceptions do.

It certainly wont help but most of the politicians flop back and forward whenever it suits their purpose. So I cant really hold it that much against her.

All I can say to her flip-flopping is that she doesn't stand a whale of a chance.

I do not have anything against Hillary, but i do not think she will be elected..I am sure her flip flopping will not help her one bit.I don't think the world is ready for a woman President yet, not that i have anything against women, because i am a woman myself, but thats just my gut feeling, and i might just be wrong about all this but thats how i feel now.

I don't think so. Look at all the others and what they have said. We also must remember that for example when the President was talking his way to war many of us thought he had the right idea. Now many of us dont. Are we flip flopping? I grew up in a Republican household. My first Presidental vote went to Goldwater. I have grown over the years as i have studied things and many of my viewpoints have changed. Also I have seen the ways questions are asked can make a candidate answer a certain way. This may or may not look like flipping. I really think she has made a couple of mis-steps,but so have the others. Personally I think she and Obama will end up running mates.

I don't know if her flip-flopping will hurt her chances but it take back my good will for her. I think a good statesman and leader should alway stick to his belief and plan. He should not change his mind time after time on important issue. That would not be good for a country.

I watched the debate and I don't think she actually came right out and said she supported it, she said she could understand why the Governor was considering it. It's hard to get a straight answer from any politician. Sometimes it's understandable for someone to change their mind on as issue, in fact we all do it from time to time, dont we? I'm not sure if it will hurt her chances or not but the polls have really tightened up in recent weeks and now Iowa is "too close to call" which I think is a good thing at this point in the election cycle. I am commenting for my mother-in-law because she's handicap. She said that alot of people flip flop and Hillary is still the best canadiate they have. She said that if you believe in Bill then believe in Hillary because he's there to help her along the way.
