which is your favourite icecream & what is the recipe for it?

my favourite one is maple ice cream.beat yolks of two eggs well until it becomes light, take a cup of maple syrup & half a cup of milk.cook over hot water,stir constantly until the mixture thicken, then pour the white portion of two eggs & let it be cool. after that add one & a half cup of fresh cream over it & freeze.decorate with cherry on the top! can u suggest some more mouth watering recipes ??

my favorite ice cream are usually chocolate flavors either bought or homemade. however i rarely eat homemade ice creams since people here in our place are not fond of making ice creams..anyway i will share to you some chocolate flavored ice creams which i love the most..from allrecipes.com Very Chocolate Ice Cream SUBMITTED BY: WENDYWR PHOTO BY: WENDYWR "This is a very rich, custard style ice cream with NO raw eggs!"INGREDIENTS * 3/4 cup sugar* 1 cup milk* 1/4 teaspoon salt* 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder* 3 egg yolk, lightly beaten* 2 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped* 2 cups heavy cream* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract DIRECTIONS 1. Combine sugar, milk, salt, and cocoa powder in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Bring to a simmer. Place the egg yolks into a small bowl. Gradually stir in about 1/2 cup of the hot liquid. and return to the saucepan. Heat until thickened, but do not boil. Remove from the heat, and stir in the chopped chocolate until chocolate is melted. Pour into a chilled bowl, and refrigerate for about two hours until cold, stirring occasionally. 2. When chocolate mixture has completely cooled, stir in the cream, and vanilla. Mine is Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Ship Cookie Dough ice cream. Unfortunately, I don't know what the recipe is. Although, since I'm not that great in the kitchen, it's probably just as well that I don't know and just buy it already made. I could live off this stuff, and have yet to find another company that makes it just as yummy!!!
