Isn't it odd that so many countries around the world have a legend or religeous story about a great flood, and one man on an ark? I couldn't tell you the names of the cultures for examples, but I saw a documantary on the topic, on the history channel. But on I do know of is the Noah's Ark bible story. Do you think there was really a great flood in ancient times? I think there could have been.

Yes, I think there is some real evidence of a big flood in ancient times. There's some scientific facts to back it up, I believe, but I can't think of any details right now. Annie

I'm quite taken with the flooding of the Black Sea theory myself. I like it, I'm sticking with it. It works for most of the flood stories.

It's not just a story, it's the truth. The Bible isn't just a book, it's the history of man kind and the prophecy of what is to come. I truly believe that Noah built the ark and that there was a great flood to cleanse the earth.

I think its a lie story about the great flood. The bible is only recording the people experience around in one place not other place. For example China whose civilization was as great as any other and in fact the chinese do writing more than any civilization but where is their record about the great floods. I think the bible story was only recording the experience of people in one place not any other place. And one more thing, documentary channel usually exaggerating the story a little bit to make more interesting.

Yes, I believe it. The story of Noah had been documented. You could see the expedition of Noah's ark at http://www.arkdiscovery.com/noah's_ark.htm
