I come from Malaysia and my favourite foreign meal is Thai Pud Mee. It seems a bit similar to normal hawker fried mee but Thai Pud Mee just has something different to it's taste that makes it great. I can't really figure out what is it that makes it nicer than the normal fried mee. Besides, the chilli sauce they provide with the mee is none other than Thai chilli sauce which is my favourite chilli sauce as it's sweet and nice. An amazing combo all in all! =)

you are right! damn right! chillies just few years back ment tabu to me. but since i've met my wife, my taste has somehow changed. as she is thai most southeast asians meals the first choice. except FIRE HOT KILLERS :) by the way, freshly made MEE of any kind at street hawker stalls is a JOY on my next visa-run maybe in Malaysia :)

Yeah, if you do go to Malaysia, the roadside hawkers are a must-try, because you will miss a lot of Malaysia itself if you don't! The food can sometimes be even better than those in the restaurant, so ask your tour guide to recommend some roadside hawkers that are famous....hope to see you in Malaysia! =)

Again have to say how right you are ! Street food is more tasty and you can actually pick ingrediences that you like most. One street walk can be pretty harsh for my belly :) . I've been in Malaysia only at KL airport, so maybe next time.
