I've bought a pendrve recently, because using my mp3 for data starage started to be irritating:/ I needed something with at least 2GB and something my little brain coudn't forget to take with me anywhere I go:P So I found my perfect pendrive. It's PQI i810. It's just amazing. I attached it to my cellphone so I always canhave it when needed and it is so small it's unbelivable. Just to let you know: Size: 30 x 15.2 x 5 mm Weight: 2.2g Maybe it's not the titan of speed but it's pretty good. So what pendrive did you have and what made you buy thi certain model?

The one I use most is a 2 GB Kingston. I bought it at school for several months to a year ago. It holds a lot of my personal files, including my e-mail client (Thunderbird Portable), and also a lot of techie tools. Then I have a 2 GB Sony, which I bought more recently at Staples. I frequently use this one to carry files back and forth between two computers. It also holds my Mini vMac and DOSBoxPortable. I have an off-brand, 1 GB flashdrive that I bought a couple years ago at Target, and four 1 GB, U3 Attache drives. I can't seem to remember where I bought these. I also have a 3-year-old, 40 GB Seagate USB hard drive. I believe I bought this one at Target. :)

Well, actual capacity is always little smaller than producers says;)

1GB stands for 1024MB. But a producer use it as 1GB=1000 MB. So when you bought 4GB pen drive Thats means for producer it is 4000MB. Thats means divide it by 1024. so actual pen drive capacity is 3.9GB.

i have kingston data traveler 512MB. it's nice and has speed data transfer. the good thing about flash drives is is that they don't have moving parts so no crashing if it ever falls from a height.

Ah, Data Travelers are very popular pen drives where I live. But I don't thing their speed is so great. Speed tests result are quite average but Kingston is a good brand, and safe one too.

I have my transcend 1 gb pen drive and it was more than adequate for my usage as i dont store songs in it but only some documents and presentations and excels, etc. I found it really fast to copy and transfer and this is the best I have used ever.

i use kingston, DataTraveller 1gb pendrive. i'vent researched too much about pendrives but the dealer to whom i went recomended it and most of my friends use the same. So i didnt think twice before choosing kingston. now the 2gb version is available for the same price! thats the only regret i have about that purchase, when i bought only 1gb was available :(

PATRIOT Xporter XT - One of the fastest Flash Drives in the world!
Read spead: 32MB/s
Write speed: 26MB/s
Ithink you should thing what atribute is most important to yu. i810 is sure in handy, but if it's speed you want I recommend you PATRIOT Xporter XT. My boyfriend use it and it can save data on flash drive with 26 MBps speed (2.6 times as fast as mine O_O)! But it is more expensive, too.
