What do you do when you have insomnia? I woke up at 2am this morning and feel so awake that I switched on my computer and continue developing my Fine Existence website (http://fineexistence.googlepages.com) and drafted two more articles for Helium postings.

erm.. guess you mean my decision. Thanks for the well wishes, mate... though making lots of money is not the main reason I am here. Just having fun chatting about easy, day to day topics raised by different people. Cheers!

I've suffered with insomnia for as long as I can remember, and I've never found anything to help me sleep, I usually just start writing an article or letter I've been meaning to write for a while - at least that way, I'm not wasting my time, laying in bed and counting sheep, or something equally as useless.

I agree. Rather than wasting time forcing sleep which is likely to be ineffective anyway (otherwise, it would not be called insomnia, eh?), making use of the quiet moments in the night to read or write is more constructive.

Yes, I agree. Staying awake the next day gets a bit more tricky. What will we do without coffee, eh? Then again, too much coffee the next day just invites insomnia back the following night. :-)

Insomnia is a major pain in the bottom region, I have suffered for the last few years and have still not found the answer, tried tablets relaxation and other things but still find myself awake at stupid oclock in the mornin!
