I actually recently posted this on another forum, but I had been thinking today of what a flirt I am on mylot. So it occurred to me to share my poem here, so people could understand about the little monster I keep in a cage. :P
The Monster
Back in the cage, you!
Engineer of embarrassing moments,
Creator of chaos,
Dreamer of all sorts of inappropriate dreams,
Back in the cage, you!
You with your smile
your wink and your whisper
your disgustingly adorable giggles
Back in the cage, you!
Lover of pretty faces and well-turned words,
Sucker for a smile,
Hanger-on of dreamers and poets
Back in the cage, you...
I whisper weakly
Knowing all the while
my life would be so much less fun
without you, my flirt monster.

Engineer of embarrassing moments... I can sure relate to that line. I've got a 'cyber crush' right now and I told my daughter thank god he doesn't live down the road because I would be making an absolute fool of myself. But that's not unusual.
Nope, I would not argue with you when you say you are a poet. That you are. You should be in love with yourself since you definitely word a well-turned phrase.

Hehehe! That's why I said that if I flirt with someone it's best that they live in my computer! The farther away they live the better lol so that way I won't be embarrassed because I'll never meet them ;)

Nice one. i believe that flirting is not bad if you know when to do it, the situation, the person you're doing with it, and the limitation of what you will do. Because everything that we do in a right time, and a right amount wont do harm to others, while if we do it in wrong way, then surely it will harm...

Haha! Now I feel silly because I already have a discussion on flirting, but I wanted to post my poem, and it seems to have started another one. Ah well, whatever works. :)

I agree with your opinion there... there are of course limits to what is harmless, but as long as you know where your limirs are, it's fun.
Besides, I can't help it, that darn cage just doesn't always hold the flirt monster.

Thanks for sharing your poem with us hun! Is really neat when you can see a different side of someone. I'm all for flirting! It's fun and as long as none gets hurt, no biggie! For me the rule is to only flirt with people that live in my computer. That way the mystery is always there and I'd never actually meet the person which would also save a LOT of embarrassment! Loved the poem, thanks again for sharing.

True! I too have flirted with people offline, but they know and respect my boundaries so it's all good ;) For some reason if I haven't met the person though it's easier! So hey baby, what's your sign ;) LoL.
