My husband and I were going to catch a flight on this new airline Express Jet,to the in-laws for Thanksgiving. Its just a one hour flight from Ontario, CA to Monterey. Our flight was at 3:15 and we were getting all ready to go. And then our in-laws called and asked if we were at the airport yet, but it was only 11:15? Then I checked on-line, they had canceled our 3:15 flight and switched us to a 12:30 flight. But we had never been notified so we assumed we were still flying at 3:15. So we missed our plane. And that was the last one of the day. So we ended up driving to the in-laws which wasn't too bad and meant we could bring our cats. In theory, Express Jet is refunding our money, since its more their fault than ours that we missed the flight.
Has this kind of thing ever happened to you? Tell me about it.

I never missed the plane because i'm very early and re booking can cost me additional money.

No, thank god it didn't, but since nothing is so easy here in Argentina, we usually check our flight time by phone at the airport once or twice before going down there, LOL, so I guess I would have called.
Anyway, you're right and it's not your fault. They should refund your money.

I haven't lost a flight for minutes. Me and two friends were in Bilbao to flight to Madrid and the back to Brasil. Thing is the Bilbao flight got delayed too much and we arrived just in time for the flight home - some running required. Our baggage haven't had the same luck. We had to fill complain forms and have them delivered at home next day.
