How Can I Tell If He's Turned On?

In a post to another member who had just joined, I am afraid that I gave her some misinformation. I told her about adding friends and how when she adds one they go to the end of her friends page and are automatically turned to "off" and explained what that meant to her email and how to turn them "on". I also explained about the delete click.
Well....I have a friend that is clogging my email with discussions that I have no interest in or no time for, so I went to turn her off. SHOCK!!!! I love the new look of the Friends Pages; but there are no buttons for "off", "on", or "delete".
Did MyLot do a notice while I was on hiatus (or while I was depressed with my head in between sofa cushions, or even when I was more depressed and watching the women on Jerry Springer finding out "Who's Your Daddy?"), that explained how to operate this new page. Can you make a deletion or are your friends your friends forever? Can you turn a friend's discussions off so you don't get so many emails in your account? I would really appreciate an answer so I can go back and apologize to the woman I misled and explain to her the truth.
Thank you all ever so much~Donna

hehehe that title really caught me...hahhaa honestly, i have not really exploited the features of mylot. all i do is start a topic or reply to other's post. i don't really intend to get email notifications, because you're right, that would get mine flooded. i don't want that. i just reply to friends' discussions and others that i see are interesting and i have a knowledge about. good day! :-)

I think you are a smart woman! I don't start too many discussions either; but I do like to collect friends. If I open my email and see that they have started 5-10 discussions in a row, I just delete the emails and then go to "my friends", and turn the setting to "off". I will visit "my off friends" section occasionally and go to their sites and post answers to discussions that are seriously thought out. Thank you for your reply and I am glad you enjoyed my title~Donna

HMMM..... try checking again?
If not, scan your computer for spyware.
I just checked... everything looks exactly the same. :P

Are you talking about the friends page on myLot?
It's the same old one for me with the send message, notify on/off and the delete buttons. I don't see any problem there.
Could it be that those buttons are not loading on your page due to some problem?

My friends list is still the same.
I am not seeing the changes that you are.
My notify on/off and delete options are still there.
Sorry I can't be of more help.
Ciao4now,
Shannon
