What is the most expensive thing you have ever bought?

The most expensive things I've purchased would be my house followed by my car. Other than that, the next most expensive things would probably be my furniture. I've got expensive taste when it comes to furniture!

The most expensive flight I bought was an around the world ticket. It was from London to Los Angeles to Hawaii to Fiji to Sydney to Adelaide overland to Cairns to Darwin to Singapore to London. I left in February 1993 and this ticket cost just over one thousand pounds. I was away for just over a year. The second most expensive flight I have bought was a return flight from the UK to New Zealand. I stopped off in Los Angeles twice, French Polynesia, the Cook Islands and Samoa. I left in November 2002 and this ticket cost around eight hundred pounds. I wads away for a few months and spent a wonderful Christmas in New Zealand.
