Rahul dravid is a member of indian national cricket team. I am not sure whether he is a marati guy or kannadiga. May be someone can clear my doubt here. Rahul has high scores in test batting average in all the indian batsmen. He was born in Indore, which is in madhya pradesh. He is a brahmin guy living in bangalore, karnataka. he knows kannada and marati to speak (english, hindi for sure). He is a degree holder which bachelor of commerce from Saint joseph college, bangalore. His nick name is Jammy. He got married in 2003, may 4th. Wife name is Dr. Vijeta Pendarkar. He has a son called Samit born in 2005, october 11th. Rahul has a brother too. His name is Vijay. His wife is not that cute as rahul. He has got a lot of awards. 1). Ceat Cricketer of the 1999 World Cup 2). Wisden Cricketer of the Year 2000 3). Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy Winner of 2004 (Awarded for ICC Player of the Year) 4). Padma Shri of 2004 5). ICC Test Player of The Year 2004 6). Captain of the ICC's Test Team of the year 2006. Rahul Dravid has 2 biographies written on his career: 1). Name of the book is Rahul Dravid - A Biography written by Vedam Jaishankar. 2). Name of the book is The Nice Guy Who Finished First written by Devendra Prabhudesai. I really like his attitude, smartness, teamwork. he is my favourite cricket star. Does anybody has any other information? you can post here, so that we all know.
