Are all countries on an earlier time zone than the United States? Does everything happen here last? My nephew is in Japan, he's a marine, and I believe they are 12 or 13 hours ahead of us. I also realize that Europe is ahead of us. What countries have a later time zone, if any?

A lot of countries are on earlier time zones than the United States, actually. Even in the United States, there are I think around 4 to 5 different time zones, if you include Hawaii. Countries on the same longitudes as the US have the same time zones as well. But I wouldn't say that everything happens in the US last; as there are a lot of advanced technologies in the States compared to other countries. The US just happens to be in the later time zones, as well as the rest of North and South America.

It looks like Hawaii is the latest.
