Anyone ever seen the Film4 Film, Land Girls?

Just wandering if anyone has ever seen the 1998 British film by film4, called Land Girls. I saw it last night and thought it was very good. It's 1941 and in Britain, WW2 is well under way and as the men are off fighting, the women (the women's land army) take to the fields to grow crops to provide food for the people. The story is about 3 girls who come to work on a farm. They are all very different but form an unlikely friendship against the backdrop of the gritty life on the farm. The story follows them as they learn to work in the farm and the different romances in their lives and how the war affected them. The actors played the roles so well and it was all done so well that you really care about the characters. I thought the ending was really depressing though and just wandering if anyone else on here and has seen it and what they think.
