I've spent countless hours trying to get this working -

And I finally found the answer!!! My son got an ipod touch a couple weeks ago, and he was in a big hurry to set it up, had no clue what he was doing and ended up adding all his stuff to my library. Well, now he's having a horrible time with things disappearing, but it looks like they're all on my regular ipod just fine. Which they shouldn't be. I've been all over the manual, the support for both ipods and itunes, looking for information on using 2 ipods with one computer. Well, he was very frustrated tonight and I've decided to figure it out before I go to bed. Well, about 2 hours ago I started working on this. And I've finally found it! I can't believe I had such a hard time getting this information. You would think that Apple realizes that more than one person in a household would have an ipod, but not more than one computer. I thought this would be an easy thing to find. I did finally find it and am now creating his own library, moving all his purchases into it, then hopefully it'll sync correctly and I can finish setting up the computer to accept both ipods. This has been very frustrating for both me and my son - I finally told him to just leave it all with me while he went out tonight. I've printed out the instructions so when he gets back to his Navy ship he'll be able to get it all synced without any more problems. If this doesn't work properly, I think you will all hear me screaming in frustration!!!!
