I was just listening to some of his music videos on YouTube and I noticed a lot of comments about RIP. I found out that he was dead from his website. I felt a bad feeling in my heart. Just a few months he was in MY city giving a concert, and he was in South Africa doing some promotions. He was shot because someone was car jacking his car. I am not sure if it was his fans.
His name is Lucky Dube. He is a reggae artist. Now you can view his music on You Tube just search by his name. Look on his website: http://www.luckydubemusic.com if you wish to leave him your condolences. There is also another discussion about him:

Not many people knew his music, but he is one of the best artists around. His music inspired me. He ACTUALLY sings about issues that matter. My friend is thinking about singing cover songs of his songs. She has a wonderful voice.
Basically, why do we die? Why did he have to die in such a way? He was doing no one no harm. It is very sad, and I wish I could see him right now. I am thinking about him all the time. God Bless him, he is in spirit looking at us right now.
Please leave a message, tell me what you think about life/death, what you think of his music, or anything that has to relate to the subject
Thanks for reading!

The only reggae artist I know about is Bob Farley. As for why was Lucky Dube killed. No one knows. It could be that being an artist he traveled a lot and the opportunity of harm arose. It is like the famous people I knew about getting into airplanes that crashed into mountains and killed them, not because that it was their time to go, but because that private jets are not as safe and there are more opportunities for them to run into mountains. I am sure that the hi jacker did not say, "AH there is that famous reggae artist, I hate them, I always hate them! I will kill him," he was more interested in getting the car. Lucky Dube just was unlucky to be around at the wrong moment.

Thank you for the best response. It is a shame there were not more people answering. Reggae is much more better than rap!
