Last night I got to see part of an old movie....Holiday Inn with Danny Kaye and other older stars. I was so impressed looking at the backgrounds and costumes how they were able to do all of that and make a spectular movie without all the modern techniques....Do you like old movies and what do you think of how they put them together? This was a musical with White Christmas and a bunch of other wonderful songs. I thought it was amazing! What do you think?

I love older movies. White Christmas is one of my favorites and it is so weird looking at Rosemary Clooney in that movie, since she is/was George Clooney's aunt. I think I see similarities in the shape of their eyes. She was the one who had the romance with Bing Crosby's character. Meet Me in St. Louis is another one of my favorites, and the songs are really catchy. I like the classy movies. I don't think every movie has to be done like an old school movie to be good these days, but neither do I think they have to have a curse word in every other breath to be enjoyable.

One of my favorite movies is the origional Withering Heights....in black and white. They virtually had no scenery! I don't know when it was filmed but I saw it on the American movie channel which I don't get anymore and I always loved watching the movies on that channel...they always take away the good stuff! LOL

Even Blockbuster has drastically cut down the amount of classic movies they carry.
