I think self confidence is an inner thing, that you are happy about yourself, your feelings and your decisions, it is something you project for others to see...

I feel that self-confidence is an extremely complicated concept that means different things to different people. To me, self-confidence is being aware of and not being ashamed of who you are. When people are critical of you, you take it with a grain of salt and seek to improve yourself where you are able to but are not willing to compromise your core values and beliefs. I've struggled with self-confidence a lot in my life thus far, and I found that learning more about yourself, exploring and critically analyzing what you believe in and what you love, is a great way to build self-confidence. Self-awareness comes first and I feel that self-confidence slowly follows.
