This book was really good from the start of it. it is one of the books that once I start reading it I can't put it down. Here is what the book is about. The killer knows Eve Duncan all to well. He knows the pain she feels for her murderded daughter. Bonnie, whose body has never been found. He knows that one of the nation's top forensic sculptors she'll insist on finding the nine skulls unearthed on a bluff. He knows she won't be able to resist the temptation of beliving one of the skeleton's might be her daughters. This is a book well worth reading I have enjoyed other books in this same series with Eve Duncan and her friends Logan and Sarah and others I haven't meantioned . if you are looking for a good drama book or other books. Eve Johansen writes them well.

A very good read, Shaun! I love Iris Johansen's works. I just recently finished Pandora's Daughter. It is a departure from her series involving Eve Duncan, but a pretty good read. I don't believe any of them top the Eve Duncan series, however.

I love to read and I have never read any book by Iris Johansen yet. I could really relate to what the mother feels. However, this may be one of the books that i may never read because of its story. It seems that this is straight from my own nightmare and may cause me some sleepless nights. I will definitely read some of her books in the not too distant future though.

Yeah if it frightens you I would read them during the day. This book also is like a romance book also. The man friend that she has known for awhile becomes her boyfriend in this book. So it is like a drama and a romance book also.

I have not read it, but it sounds like a book I would love to read. I love mystery and suspense and especially when the protagonist is in terrible danger and the antagonist is so horribly evil. I wonder if it is also available on Audilble. com or whether they plan to make it into a movie? I watch a lot of Women in Danger movies, and this one would take the case. Okay, I will have to start saving up for it.

Yeah she writes a lot of books like this. I am reading another one by her now called "The Search". It has a lot of the same people in it and it is great also.
