I love comedies and I feel like I want to go back in time and watch the best comedies made so far. What are your choices?

Well, pola, just how far back do you want to go..LOL I can't help thinking the real old classics like any of the Marx Brothers, or Abbott and Costello are great--especially Marx Brothers..I love that added bit of sarcastic humor Groucho gave in his one-liners

I was thinking to go back to the bst of 70's, 80's and 90's. I have a feeling that new comedies are not that good.

My mind seems to go blank trying to think of any great comedies of the 70s-to-90s

One of my all time favorites, The Jerk. It's pretty hard for me to name just a few movies, so would a few actors work? Check out some OLD: Steve Martin John Candy George Burns Bill Murray Dan Akroyd Chevy Chase Movies. More Recent: Will Ferrell movies are typically good. Comedies w/ Vince Vaughn are excellent. Err... Okay that's all that is coming to mind right now.

Thank you. They all were stars in Saturday Night live, my favorite show... I can rent up to 5 movies in local library for free, good time to do it.... I will watch The Jerk first.

No Problem. Old SNL was the best. Steve Martin is the only person who has hosted the most SNL's. I hope you like them, movies from the 70's and 80's had this comedy aspect about them that you just don't seem to find anymore these days.
