How many people love drinking water??? I DO I DO!! LOL but i can not and will not drink the tap water here at our place.. it has a really weird taste to it.. i can and would drink water all day but i prefer bottle water. My favorite bottle water is Dasani.. i love the crisp pure taste to it. flavored or not ...? doesnt matter. i even have a water purifier that goes on the faucet and there is a spring tap up the road.. i will occasionally use those,, only if i run out of bottle water and cant make it to the store... What about you? do you pregfer bottled water?? which if any is your favorite prefernce.. do you drink tap water?? flavored water???

bottled water - bottled water requires more than 1.5 million barrels of oil annually, enough to fuel some 100,000 U.S. cars for a year,
bottled water really is't much safer then tap water and in some cases it is just that. Tap water Put in a plastic bottle and capped and sent out as being something that is totally different that what comes out of the tap. At as much as $2.50[U.S.] per liter[$10 U.S. a gallon], bottled water costs more than gasoline,The plastic most commonly used is polyethylene terepthalate (PET), which is derived from crude oil At as much as $2.50[U.S.] per liter[$10 U.S. a gallon], bottled water costs more than gasoline, Making bottles to meet Americans' demand for bottled water requires more than 1.5 million barrels of oil annually, enough to fuel some 100,000 U.S. cars for a year," EPI's Arnold said. Maybe if we would be smarter about what we are sold and didn't let the media dictate what we should be buying we wouldn't be useing up our natural resources. It is just possible that gasoline would go down in price if the consummer would drink water from the tap at home instead of buying it at the store. http://www.nrdc.org/water/drinking/bw/bwinx.asp http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2006/02/0224_060224_bottled_water.html

There are many things that people use up and dont think twice before doing so... i know of some compaines that have "tap" water filled in there bottles. they state right on the bottle that it comes from a filtration ssytem aposed to a spring. thank you so much for your info and comment

Water, water, water, nobody can live without it. You can live 30 days without eating but you can't last that long without having to rehydrate oneself. When you say bottled water, I will guess that you are pertaining to purified and distilled waters? The kind that is sold and is available almost everywhere. I also drink tap water. I have some friends who do not drink tap water because they think that it is unhealthy but I do not have any problems with it.

i am lucky that i live in sweden wherein tap water here is really clean. one of the cleanests in the world. i drink tap water here and i don't worry about anything at all. i had been here since june of this year and even if i just drink tap water, i never experienced any problem because of it. but when i go to other places, i drink bottled water. better to be safe than sorry. anne

I love water. I would drink it all day if I could too. =) I will not drink my tap water either. There is nothing wrong with it as far as we know, but I dunno. I just like to be careful. I haven't been drinking water here lately because bottled water costs money and right now I do not have any of that. lol. But when I do I just get the cheapest pack I can get, and I get the big ones like the 24 pack. Now I can not put those crystal light things in my water. I think that they are so nasty.

i agree with water should be free regardless of where it comes from or where it is going. But even tap water isnt free ... i get a bi yearly water bill that i have to pay, and its just to have the water go to the house, thats a total different bill then having hot water... i have read many articles wehere as companies have stated that there water doesnt come from a spring etc some places have a "better" more advanced filtration system , tahnk you for your resposne

I question if the bottled water is any better or safer than alot of tap water. I understand that in some places the water is not safe, but in the part of the country where we are from the tap water is delicious. I question the safety of bottled water in plastic containers, and how do you know where THAT water actually came from? Look at all the recalls.. you are trusting strangers.

some bottled waters i would agree with this comment on. of course not everything we drink will be "safe" but could always be classified as safer.. im nots aying that tap water is unsafe. there were many places i have lived were the tap water was deliocuois and "safe" but then there are places like im living in now where the ater is nasty and tasteless and i wonder if it is "safe" thank you so very much for your comment. your opinion is greatly appreciated

I used to buy bottled water but they said it wasn't good because of the oil that leaks out of the plastic bottles into the water. I got a filter that fits onto my tap and now I not only have good water to drink I have it to cook with. The filters cost more than the bottle water but it is worth it. I think I come out even in the long run. So it's filtered tap for me.

hmm.. i havent heard anything about the oils leaking out of the plastic.. that will have to be something that i look into.. wouldnt want anything like that happening etc etc. that would surely defeat the whole purpose of trying to stay healtheir and drink fresher water ...e tc etc.. thank you for your resposen

There are indeed all kinds of bottled water around these days. It is even a booming business in my place where there are many water refilling stations selling all sorts of drinkable water from purified to mineral and ionized and everything. I guess it is just timely now that these things are being encouraged because our tap water is not as safe as it is before. Our pipes are old and rusted that sometimes is contaminated already.

Here in our place, we can't drink straight from tap water too. We use a portable water purifier, and my dad on the other hand, who's very health conscious, orders alkaline water called "Kangen" (Japanese technology). It claims to be the healthier choice because of its alkalinity and it helps heal certain diseases or illnesses with continued use. I buy bottled water when I'm out, and sometimes I drink water from restaurants when I feel like drinking. Anyways, I'm lucky I don't have a sensitive stomach, so no problem with stomach upsets and discomfort when I take in 'questionable' water in my system sometimes. :)

I usually drink filtered tap water in a glass. I heard that the chemicals in plastic go into the water in plastic bottled water. But I don't like the regular tap water on its own. I have tried a couple flavored waters but I didn't really like them.

I don't like water but I preferred drinking bottled water. I've stopped buying bottled water because it's getting expensive and in my state they added an extra bottle tax. My boyfriend still buys it because he like to take a bottle to school with him. Now what I'm doing is boiling the tap water. I prefer to drink warm water than cold.

Yeah, I like drinking bottled water. In fact, I always keep one bottle near my computer in my room, so I can reach for it from time to time. Flavored? NO! I just hate flavored water - at first I thought it might be cool - to have lemon or orange water, but it tastes disgusting.

I love bottled water best but I don't mind tap water here! In fact I much prefer the tap water than the fridge purified water at my boyfriend's house, the plastic container he keeps it in makes the water taste of plastic. I hate flavoured water because it tastes so fake but I love the freshness of plain cold water. You can't beat it!

we also dont drink water from the faucet at home. we are not sure about its safety so we just have distilled and purified water delivered every 2 weeks. we are only 3 in the apartment so we do not consume that much drinking water.
