Ever have a project that never ends?

My fiance and I recently purchased our first home and are awaiting the arrival of our first child. So of course first thing to get done is the nursery. After finally moving in, we started the nursery which seemed like an easy project. Well i certaintly was wrong. From redoing walls to painting, redoing the hardwood floors, to putting up new trim. The task just seems to take for ever. Its just on going. As soon as we finish one thing it seems there is something else that needs done. The room isn't all that big so i dread doing the rest of the house. After about two weeks we have almost everything completed. Anyone else done or have a never ending project?
