Drug Cartels Import Islamic Illegal Alien Terrorists into US to attack base!

This article was from the Washington times but posted on ALIPAC...(Americans for Legal Immigration) site. "Fort Huachuca, the nation's largest intelligence-training center, changed security measures in May after being warned that Islamist terrorists, with the aid of Mexican drug cartels, were planning an attack on the facility. Fort officials changed security measures after sources warned that possibly 60 Afghan and Iraqi terrorists were to be smuggled into the U.S. through underground tunnels with high-powered weapons to attack the Arizona Army base, according to multiple confidential law enforcement documents obtained by The Washington Times. "A portion of the operatives were in the United States, with the remainder not yet in the United States," according to one of the documents, an FBI advisory that was distributed to the Defense Intelligence Agency, the CIA, Customs and Border Protection and the Justice Department, among several other law enforcement agencies throughout the nation. "The Afghanis and Iraqis shaved their beards so as not to appear to be Middle Easterners." Now this is scary as all get out to me. Has this type of information been given to the President? So why do we still have open borders? This just doesn't make any sense! The full article is here. http://www.alipac.us/article-2738-thread-1-0.html

That is why the United States needs a secure border between Mexico and the United States. You do not have to worry about Canada. Too cold and even the legal visitors are giving a hard time, but in the Southern United States, there are all those poor Mexicans and people let their sympathy overcome their common sense. It is easier to smuggle criminals in with poor people. At least they got the warning and took the appropriate measures. I am interested in this illegal immigration news because it affects me, a Canadian. Maybe in the future, I might want to live in the States and the more illegals in the States, the less likely the ones who apply legally will be let in.

This story is not outrageous. US military bases are remarkably insecure. Troops do not have easy access to their weapons or ammo at most bases stateside. Anyone willing to take a walk through the woods can gain entrence to most bases. A team of a dozen experienced terrorists could infiltrate through the wooded training area while disguised as US troops. They then could easily kill a few score unarmed US soldiers and run for it. Before an adequate response could be organized the enemy would mostly have gotten away. Let's hope this close call serves as a warning for base security to be tightened.

Yes, many forts are very secure. Many more are not. Additionally, some forts that look secure, are not. I was not kidding about a walk in the woods in order to get onto base property. The main gate is only necessary if you are driving. Fencing off the thousands of acres that are some military posts is not practical. Combine this with the small number of armed troops and the difficulty of everyone else getting their weapon and ammo quickly and you have a very unsecure situation.

If they are using tunnels, then it doesn't really matter if the borders are open or closed. As the article said, this information is little more than rumor at this point because it is unprocessed unverified raw information. I am sure that the president has been briefed, just I am sure that Congress is also aware of the problems.... yet they insist on keeping the borders open, as well as the rest of it, such as opposing making English our official language, and opposing efforts to only do business in English.

I'm guessing the borders are open because of the North American thing (I forgot what it's called) . I have been wondering that since the first time I read it. Mexico is in the North, but why does it have to be joined with us? I don't know about fort security but if they can use tunnels to get to the US, then they can use the tunnels to smuggle more illegal immigrants here, instead of terrorists

as it has hit the news Am pretty sure the prez got it before hand and Closing the border is very hard to do if they have built more tunnels in to the USA from Mexico . Now if they use the ones already known am sure they are being watched . and even if teh borders were all socked up the tunnels are someting else to deal with. They already know where 2 or 3 tunnels are and sure they have found more since then for they now know to look for them. hard to close a border when they can come under ground. am hoping that soon they have all the fence built up all those 1,000s of miles of that wild country down there at the border. aand if this has been leaked out to the press then they already have it covered and are sure they will be able to catch them before they do any kind of attack on the Ft or any where else. and all w can do is pray that they have it covered and put faith into the FBI and all the other initials parts of the Gov that takes care of these kind of threats!

None of this should be a surprise, it is all highly feasible and I would not be so surprised that we spend so much time concentrating on airlines and the next set of terrorists will just stroll in through the back door.
